Josiah Austin is a highly accomplished and versatile modern classical composer and pianist, known for his mesmerizing blend of alluring melodies, lush harmonies, and elegant simplicity. Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of musical influences, including Erik Satie, Joep Beving, Radiohead, Nils Frahm, Brian Eno, Ludovico Einaudi, Ennio Morricone John Williams and others, Josiah masterfully blends nostalgia, introspection, childlike wonder, mystery, and melancholy to create works that evoke the beauty of deep reflection, warm memories, and wistful dreaming.

Born in Bitburg, Germany and raised in Hazel, South Dakota, Josiah now resides in Vancouver, Washington, where he continues to pursue his passion for music. In addition to composing and performing, he also offers piano lessons to students in the Portland metropolitan area, while recording and editing sound for brand campaigns and composing music for advertising. He is also a half of the dynamic music duo, Lilli & Charles, which he formed with his wife, Heidi.
